This is a Simple fuzzy system developed to predict the health condition of a patient based on 7 different input parameters. The system was designed based on the information obtained through the literature.
There are some standard techniques of identifying certain types of diseases. The measured values of several critical parameters can be used to predict the health condition of a patient. According to the literature some of the combination of parameters were used to develop the monitoring system. The input parameters that are being considered are,
Respiration rate
Oxygen Saturation
Temperature
Blood Pressure
Heart rate
age
Glucose level
By evaluating the above input parameters under different conditions the following diseases / conditions are expected to be identified through the system.
Diabetes
Pre-diabetes
Normoglycaemia
Hypoglycemia
Stroke
Hypoxemia
Hypothermia
The system is being improved with the help of a final year undergraduate (Anjana Senanayake) from the Department of Computer Science, University of Peradeniya. More information will be added after justifying the system performance with clinical testing.
